As a cutting edge services company, HSC is always looking to work with innovators on the technology front and develop exciting proof of concept solutions that showcase our solution building expertise. A while ago, we teamed up with a Canadian company, HomeJinni, to develop an android based telepresence client over SIP. The concept is simple, but powerful – combining your home TV and your home voip line via a set top box (android powered) which can be used for telepresence. See our press release here.

HSC has just launched a new “$1 consulting” offer. Here is how it works: For a dollar, you get 4 hours of time with our US based mobile consultants. There are no strings attached. If you did not find our consultants of value to your problem at hand, you’ve lost your dollar, sorry about that. No harm done beyond that. If you like our consultants, we hope you will use them for a future opportunity (but trust us, we will not pester you on that account).

Why are we doing this? Simple. We think we really know our stuff when it comes to mobile technologies. And we want you to give us a try.

We’ve helped a whole bunch of companies in the mobile space with hard problems such as:

Mass device testing strategies for testing your apps (example, do you really need to buy 600 devices to test your app, or, can you really afford to pay remote testing labs for testing each device?)

Operator specific deployment challenges (example, did you know each operator has its own nuances on how GPS technology works and is reported in their networks?)

Porting Factories (imagine you having a mobile app that an operator likes and you need to churn out localizations, brandings, etc. in lightning speed)

OEM certifications (such as windows logo, j2me verified etc.)

Porting Android to different hardware platforms, solving OpenCore/OpenMAX related issues

and really a whole lot more

So what can you achieve in 4 hours ?

It may surprise you, but a lot. If you are facing a particular problem, you’d be surprised how quickly it can approach a solution if you speak to someone who knows how.

If this interests you, take a peek at the offer and contact us (you will find contact details in the brochure).
